Prinjesdag foal auction
Exceptionally talented Extreme U.S. daughter Trigger-Time auction topper for 37,000 euros from Foal Auction Prinsjesdag
The 32nd edition of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag had a nice ending during Prinsjesdag in Ermelo with an average price of 12,300 euros and a top price of 37,000 euros for the striking Extreme U.S. daughter Trigger-Time. This exceptionally talented filly comes from the breeding of the Van Enckevort family and remains on Dutch soil. “All in all, we can look back on a successful auction with a high sales percentage and a good average,” says Prinsjesdag chairman Arjan van der Waaij.
Eye-catchers in the ending
Particularly at the tail end of the auction, the dressage foals sold like hot cakes. Tom Cruise Texel, Hermès N.O.P. x Negro) raised 23,000 euros and no less than 35,000 euros was paid for the promising Toptoto E (O'Toto van de Wimphof x Charmeur). The final auction topper was the penultimate foal of the auction; the chic filly Trigger-Time.
Pretty average
“With buyers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Great Britain and Ireland, international interest was again high, but surprisingly enough, a number of Dutch investors also took a chance,” says Arjan van der Waaij. “The most striking dressage foals provided the highlights this edition and ultimately raised an average of more than 13,000 euros. An average of 11,500 euros was paid for the jumping foals, which brings the average to 12,300 euros,” the chairman looks back with satisfaction on the 32nd edition of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.
