Hesselhoej Double Up is a stallion that belongs to the absolute world top, with no less than 4 Grand Prix stallions in a row in his pedigree. You will also find, very exceptionally, 7 Grand Prix horses in the first 3 links of his pedigree.

In 2021, Double Up impressed the jury and won the Danish young horse qualification test with an impressive 920 points!

Hesselhoej Double Up comes from a unique lineage with exceptional performances! In the dam line you will find Danish Gold Medal mares, Elite mares, Grand Prix horses and Championship winners!

His sire is Hesselhøj Donkey Boy, who was the only horse ever to win the championship final in Denmark as a 4, 5, 6 and 7 year old. Hesselhøj Donkey Boy was named premium stallion as a 3 year old and then won his 35-day test. In addition, he won Bronze at the WCYH as a 5 year old and Silver at the WCYH as a 7 year old. He was then one of the youngest stallions ever to be named elite stallion at just 8 years old. Hesselhoej Donkey Boy is also the sire of WCYH gold and silver medal winner Hesselhoej Down Town.

Grandsire Tailormade Lancelot is an international Grand Prix horse and was a member of the British national team.

Great-grandsire Blue Hors Don Schufro hardly needs any introduction. He is a former Danish Champion and winner of a Bronze medal at the Olympic Games and was ranked number 1 in the German dressage index for stallions ten times. He is the sire of the legendary Weihegold and has over 100 offspring in international sport.

Further down the dam line we find 'Stallion of the Year 1999, Midt West Ibi Light. Sire of an incredible number of top horses, including Lyndelygaard's Mai Tai, the mare of the year 2003, who still has the highest Danish test ever. She is also the great-granddam of Hesselhoej Double Up.

The dam line is completely unique and there are not many other stallions with such a strong performance pedigree.

Dam Søbakkehus Miami is a full sister to Søbakkehus Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is the dam of the premium stallion Hesselhoej Gnags, who was sold at the Danish Warmblood Auction for 1,250,000 DKK as the second most expensive stallion ever! Miami's half-sister Søbakkehus Mia Amore is the dam of the winner of the 2022 Young Horse Championship and participant in the WCYH final, Søbakkehus Maude. She is also the dam of Søbakkehus Delayed, who was a finalist in the championship for four-year-old horses. Søbakkehus Miami is the dam of Hesselhoej Dream, who was selected as a reserve for the WCYH and participated in the final of the Young Horse Championship as a 4-, 5- and 6-year-old.

Granddam is the silver medal mare Søbakkehus Mia Bella. She won the Championship for four-year-olds herself and later ran the Grand Prix under Joachim Thomsen. In breeding, she is the grandmother of four participants in the championship final, three approved stallions, two premium stallions and a winner of a championship for young horses.

Great-grandmother Lyndelygaard's Mai Tai was mare of the year and still has the highest Danish test ever.
