Hesselhøj Dynasty

Hesselhoej Dynasty is by the still young yet already extraordinarily successful DWB champion stallion Hesselhoej Donkey Boss, winner of the prestigious Aage Ravn Trophy. At his performance test, he achieved outstanding scores, including 10 for temperament, 9.5 for trot, walk, and rideability, and 9 for canter.

Already with his first crop, Donkey Boss made a remarkable mark on breeding, producing a premium stallion that sold for €2 million at the Hannoveraner Verband auction—an early testament to his exceptional genetic value.

His full brother, the World Champion Hesselhoej Downtown, has also had a significant impact on breeding, producing outstanding offspring such as Mare of the Year 2024 and the Danish 4-year-old championship winner Søbakkehus Miss Malfoy (2025). Both Donkey Boss and Downtown have demonstrated extraordinary breeding success with relatively few offspring, highlighting the strength and consistency of this direct line.

His grandsire, Highfive Fuglsang, won the Danish Young Horse Championship as a 5-year-old with an exceptional score of 9.81, including 10 for trot, walk, and perspective. He was also placed 2nd as both a 4- and 7-year-old and qualified for the finals at the WCYH in Ermelo, and now competes successfully at Grand Prix level with Sophia Obel. As great-grandsire, the pedigree is further strengthened by the internationally successful Grand Prix stallion Zardin Firfod.

In the 4th generation stands the legendary Michellino, Stallion of the Year in DWB (2006), known for producing more Grand Prix horses than any other stallion in Denmark. In the 5th generation, Rambo appears—another Grand Prix performer with great international success under Heather Blitz.

Within the first four generations, the pedigree includes no fewer than 12 Grand Prix stallions and mares, among them Blue Hors Zack, Apache, De Niro, Gribaldi, Hesselhoej Donkey Boy, and Milan—stallions that have had a profound influence on international sport and breeding.

This concentration of elite genetics clearly shows that Hesselhoej Dynasty is not a coincidence, but the result of combining the most successful bloodlines of the past 30 years. He is a stallion bred not only for quality, but above all for intelligence, rideability, and talent, with the clear potential to succeed from young horse level all the way to Grand Prix.
